Mihali Sevastakis

PRESIDENT

 

Mihali is a Fourth-Year Civil Engineering student originally from Cleveland, Ohio. He currently coops with Bayer Becker and is interested in transportation aspect of civil. He has broadened his involvement on campus throughout the past couple years. Mihali has been heavily involved in the ASCE Student Chapter, he started as a meeting attendee and evolved into the President of the Student Chapter.

Evan Aldrich

FALL- VICE-PRESIDENT

Evan Aldrich is a 4th year Civil Engineering student at the University of Cincinnati. He hopes to one day work as a structural engineer. He has served on the executive team for three years and he is most excited about his upcoming co-op in Germany through the International Co-op Program at UC.

Emily Lommerin

SPRING - VICE-PRESIDENT

 

Emily is a 4th year Civil Engineering Student originally from Milan, Ohio. She is also a member of Concrete Canoe and the Civil Site Competition Team. She spent her first 2 co-ops at American Structurepoint as a staff engineer in the Civil Site Department and spent her past co-op at American Bridge as an estimator. She plans to continue on a path towards bridge construction after college. Emily also fosters Service Dogs in Training through 4 Paws for Ability.

Strephon Cole

TREASUREER

 

​

Strephon is an aspiring Civil Engineering major at the University of Cincinnati. Aside from his position as treasurer of the UC ASCE student chapter he is also the concrete mix design lead for the UC Concrete Canoe team. Strephon has experience in civil site design, surveying, soils and materials testing, and has experience as an AutoCad technician.

Autumn Maher

SECRETARY

 

Autumn is a 3rd year Civil Engineering student.  She plans to pursue a career in transportation engineering.  Autumn is a member of the Concrete Canoe Team and has attended the OVSC competition two times and attended the national competition in Florida.  Autumn has co-oped at Marathon Petroleum as a Project Engineer and will be a Hydraulics Engineer co-op in the Fall.

Justin Barber

OUTREACH CHAIR

Justin is a Fourth-Year Civil Engineering student originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. Justin chose the University of Cincinnati because of their heavy involvement in the field of construction and the unique co-op experience offered. He has been a member of ASCE for four years, and has been involved with many off campus activities with the organization. This is his first year on the executive board, and he looks forward to bringing fresh and creative ideas to the organization.

Parker Duck

SOCIAL MEDIA

 

Parker Duck is a 3rd year Civil Engineering Student at the University of Cincinnati from Louisville, Kentucky. Currently focusing in material engineering through his co-ops at Colas Solutions. Is involved in other organizations like Society of Environmental Engineers working in the Rain Works Campus Challenge, and currently the social media executive member of ASCE for fall. He’s always willing to lend a hand to help with whoever needs it. Always loves to explore new things and ideas.

Nichole Criner

SPECIAL EVENT PLANNER

 

Nichole is a 4th year Civil Engineering student originally from Columbus, Ohio. She has done 3 coop rotations with Schaefer and is interested in the structural aspect of civil. She is participating in the International Coop Program for the Spring of 2020, in Germany. She is also the President of the UC Society of Women Engineers, a member of Chi Epsilon, and is a Lifeguard/Aquatic Supervisor at the Campus Recreation Center.

Zach Hickey

OUTREACH CHAIR

 

Zach is a Fourth-year Civil Engineering student from Mason, Ohio. In addition to engineering, he is also minoring in Emergency management, in an effort to assist local agencies. He is involved with the Concrete Canoe team, previously attending the national competition in summer of 2019. Zach served on the executive team last year, and looks to continue to build strong relationships with the community throughout this semester.

Parker Brown

FUNDRAISING CHAIR

" Parker is a Fourth-Year Civil Engineering student from Kettering, Ohio. He was not involved in any student groups his first year at UC but after his first COOP semester he found his passion for the Civil Engineering field and all that it has to offer. Parker Joined ASCE and Concrete Canoe during his second year as a general member and during his third year he was the Social media Chair for ASCE and a Safety manager for the Concrete Canoe Team. This coming year Parker will be the Fundraising Chair for ASCE and Quality Control/Quality Assurance Manager for the Concrete Canoe Team. He has enjoyed the many opportunities he has received from his involvement and is eager to continue learning and developing his professional skills

Jon Germann

RECRUITMENT CHAIR

 

Jon is a 5th year Civil Engineering Student, from Van Wert, Ohio. He has gained experience in Civil/Site, Environmental, and Structural engineering through various co-ops including a semester spent in Berlin, Germany. After graduation he hopes to begin a career in Structural Engineering.

Chandler Harlow

AMBASSADOR

 

Chandler is a Fourth-Year Civil Engineering student, and has lived his entire life in the Westside of Cincinnati. In addition to classes, Chandler has been involved with ASCE since the beginning. While this is his first official position in ASCE, Chandler has participated on the Concrete Canoe team for the past three years. This past year, he had taken over the leadership of the hull design and structural analysis teams, using experience gained both in class and on co-op. Chandler plans to continue in structural design, due to the great experience with structural engineering at his past co-ops with Hixson, Inc. and Schaefer, Inc.

David Selzer

AMBASSADOR

 

David is a 4th year Civil Engineering student from Wadsworth, Ohio (about 15 miles west of Akron). He has co-oped with the Ohio Department of Transportation in Cleveland, Ohio for 3 terms and plans to return. He is actively engaged in the weekly meetings and will always lend a hand when it is needed. David is also a member of the UC Bearcat Marching Band and serves as a leader in the drumline. In his free time, David teaches high school band at his Alma Mater.

Jaret Lundy

SPECIAL EVENT PLANNER

 

Jaret is a 2nd year civil engineering student from Hilliard, Ohio. He is co-oping with Kokosing in the Fall as a project engineering co-op to gain professional experience with additional interest in structural engineering. He is also involved with the UC Steel Bridge Competition Team and is a campus tour guide with the ROAR Guides.
